Description

The National Transmission and Despatch company Limited (NTDCL) incorporated under the companies Ordinance 1984. NTDC owns and operates the high voltage transmission system in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The company employs a staff over nine thousand that is engaged in managing the transmission network that extends into all the provinces of the country and the AJK

The company is looking for a high caliber experienced individual for the position of Chief Internal Auditor on contract basis. The chief Internal Auditor will head the internal Audit Department of the Company and will report to the Board of Directors

Qualification

10 years post qualification relevant experience in senior audit position in listed companies or Public Sector companies
Existing employees of NTDC fulfilling the aforesaid criteria are encouraged to apply
The candidate must be a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) or Fellow Cost & Management Accountant (FCMA)

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate accounting, financial credit and other operational activities as an independent functions
Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls
Formulate internal audit programs for audit of all aspects of financial transactions
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of compliance functions etc
