Description
The Lab Technician will be answerable for Sampling and quality control testing of various process & products associated with Mukhaizna oilfield facilities and sustain all laboratory equipment to help the analytical requirements associated with the Mukhaizna oilfield.
Job Responsibilities
-
Examine samples according to industry official methods.
-
Sustain all laboratory equipment and classify and perform appropriate equipment maintenance procedures.

Make sure samples are properly assembled and that they are representative of the process streams from they are derived.

Make sure compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and regulations.

Assemble process fluid samples and perform analysis to insure product meets established specifications.

Classify problem areas leading to out of spec product and recommend corrective actions.

Observe and optimize chemical usage.

Sustain historical records and communicate water quality data to appropriate customers.

Maintain lab equipment and perform appropriate preventive maintenance.
Job Skills
-
One should have College Diploma in Applied Chemistry or any related majors.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in water testing chemistry and/or production laboratory preferably in the Oil and gas or Petrochemical industry.

Good Computer skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
