Job Requirements
-
One should have university degree in Science
-
Having minimum one year of working experience in the field of molecular diagnosis and laboratory work.
-
Good understanding of English language
Job Responsibilities
-
One can build up and manage record of all SOPs being used to process samples in the lab
-
Make sure that all equipment are in fine working condition
-
Organize a list of all expendables for procurement required for routine use in the lab
-
Set up specifications of all reagents/media for procurement
-
Keep record of all expendables and non-expendables
-
Manage record of all samples received for molecular diagnosis in the lab
-
Help Project Coordinator in the procurement of all expendables and non-expendables as required
-
Help to manage training workshops for the provincial lab staff
-
Help the Project staff in the shipment of samples to the FMD-World Reference Lab UK or other reference labs for further analysis
-
Manage with the staff of ELISA and virus isolation labs for sharing samples for further analysis and characterization
-
Perform any other duty as required by the Project staff.
